This blog post is brought to you by May Showers and new members! Happy Spring time everyone!

Please make sure to check out page 2 for the results of our 2017/2018 membership drive. I would like to say thank you to the Regional Representatives and to the Communication Development and Professional Development Committee for their hard work on this year’s membership drive. We also have a short online survey (see the link on page 5) so that CCFLO can gather information regarding licensing officer caseloads. There is a quick turnaround for the survey and we appreciate you taking the time to respond.

The CCFLO Executive has been in full-swing planning mode since January, and we thought we would take this opportunity to highlight some things you can expect to see in the upcoming 2017/2018 year. The Executive is excited to share that we are in discussion with a contractor to re-establish a CCFLOBC website which will enable the Executive and the members to be more connected to the Association and to each other. This endeavour is part of our commitment to provide additional value for your membership, aside from the semi-annual conferences. In addition, the Executive is exploring the possibility of offering monthly conference calls or webinars which would focus on topics of discussion relevant to the field of Licensing; as well as, starting some discussions around the planning of our next AGM and future Symposium. We will be sure to keep our membership appraised of the progress the Executive makes as we move forward.

Until then, we welcome all new and returning members of CCFLOBC and we look forward to working for and with you this upcoming year! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your Regional Representative.

Nicole Byrne.
